Joly Designs

Founded by Sylvain Joly in 1981, the Joly Design studio stands out for its sensitive, humanist approach to furniture. Each project is born of a dialogue between aesthetics and emotion, drawing inspiration from craftsmanship and architecture. Their creations express this philosophy with grace, balancing the finesse of the line with the richness of use. For Habitat, the studio designed the Alizée sofa, a seat of soft lines, elevated by a button-tufted finish and an elegant adjustable backrest.

The Alizee collection

Place it opposite a large window or open shelving to let the curved form stand in relief. A low, organic-edged coffee table in timber or travertine keeps the floor plane visible and the room feeling open.
